Parades

Any member is welcome and encouraged to participate in the holiday parades.

Dogs should be clean, fairly well behaved, and tolerant of crowds.  Often we have to walk past horses or other exciting animals and there may be candy along the route.  There will also be bouncing excited children.  Keep this in mind when deciding to participate with your dog.

Parades can be an excellent training opportunity for young dogs or a fun outing for older dogs who just like to get out of the house.

If this is not something your personal dog may enjoy, we may be able to find you a dog to walk. Participants are acknowledged in the club newsletter and at our annual picnic/awards banquet.
