Weight Pulls

Registration is from 10:30am to 11:30am
with the pulls starting at 12 noon
except for Midnight Magic which will be 1 hour earlier.

Weight pulls are open to able bodied purebreds or mixed breeds who are at least 30 pounds and at least 12 months of age.  Healthy dogs 10 years or older are welcome to participate in the Novice class which caps out at 1,000 pounds.  Other restrictions apply.  Complete rules can be found HERE (coming soon).

People wishing to participate but arrive after 11:30am may still participate in the Novice class but once weigh in has closed at 11:30am, no further dogs will be allowed into the competitive portion of the pull.  A handler's meeting will take place after weigh-in has closed but before the start of the weight pull.

Entry fees:

Regular class - $15 for the first 2 dogs in a household, $10 for any additional dogs in the household

Novice class - $5/dog

The after party:  Anyone who wishes to join us for dinner after the pull is welcome to do so. We visit local restaurants after almost every weight pull.

Harnischfeger Park

At the parking lot, let the attendant know you are here for the weight pull.  Proceed straight, passing the club house and head toward the campsites at the back of the property.  The road will be blocked off - move the road block, drive through, and replace the road block.  Keep going straight until you see the pull area.  Heavy vehicles should expect to park on the road, normal sized  vehicles may be able to park on the grass.  If the area is very soft, it may be difficult to work out of your vehicle.  Expect to bring a crate.

Food is available on site.
