All member-owned dogs who are public friendly and well-behaved around other dogs are welcome to participate. All dogs MUST be up to date on their rabies vaccines and should be clean and well groomed.
Dogs should be comfortable with crating. These events do count toward the Alaskan Malamute Club of America's All Around Alaskan Malamute public outreach requirements. Temperament testament letters can be obtained from Jen.
Wisconsin State Fair Group of The Day
When: August 10th and 11th of 2024 from 10am until 9pm Saturday and 8pm Sunday.
Where: K-9 Sports Arena at the Wisconsin State Fair Park
What to bring: If you want a specific crate to use and any larger comfort items, bring it to the AMCW club picnic or to the Waukesha specialties. George will have the ability to drive into the Fair park and offload items at the building. It will be difficult to get through the gates with much gear. We will provide fans and there is water on site.

We have various gear for the public to see and touch in addition to the dogs to pet. Weather permitting, we run a sled demo (NOT rides) throughout the day to show the dogs in action.
What to bring: Bring a crate, a chair for yourself, dog water, and snacks for your dog. Food and heated bathrooms are on site.
